Challenge 1 - Sketch
The art of sketch comedy tests the comics in their first group challenge. Cheryl Hines is the celebrity mentor. Also: a stand-up test at the Hollywood Improv.
Challenge 2 - Talk Show
The comics learn about mastering talk-show interviews when they visit "The Ellen DeGeneres Show." Wanda Sykes serves as the mentor.
Challenge 3 - Universal Tram Experience
The seven remaining comics serve as tour guides on the Universal Studios tram tour; guest mentor Howie Mandel.
Challenge 4 - Roast
The comics, mentored by comic Jeff Ross, take part in a roast of Gilbert Gottfried; two comics compete in a showdown where one will be eliminated.
Finals - Top 5 to 4
The five remaining contestants perform for the judges; the top four comics are determined; Jay Leno mentors the comics.
Finals - Top 4 to 3
The final four comics perform for the judges. One comic is eliminated.
2 Hour Finale - Top 3 to 1
Three comics perform for the judges; judges Roseanne Barr, Russell Peters and Keenen Ivory Wayans perform; the winner is revealed. (120 minutes)
