Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman host the launch of the 20th series, joined by judges Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke, Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse as they welcome 15 new celebrities to the Strictly ballroom. Featuring a guest appearance by John Legend, and last year's champions Rose Ayling-Ellis and Giovanni Pernice reprising their winning routine
Week 1
Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman host the first live show of the series. Judges Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and Shirley Ballas assess the routines of the 15 couples, with the scores they award tonight being carried over to next week when viewers will have their chance to vote. Plus, a special group routine from the professional dancers
Week 2
Our 15 new couples return to the Strictly ballroom. They’ve broken in their dancing shoes and are now performing live to keep their place in the competition. This week, not only do they have to impress the judges but also the viewers at home, as for the first time this series, the public vote will open.

Week 11 Musicals
The show makes a rare second appearance this week as the quarter-final is moved forward a day thanks to World Cup coverage. This musicals-themed edition opens with a dance extravaganza performed by the professional dancers alongside West End legends Marisha Wallace, Ivano Turco and Trevor Dion Nicholas. Fleur, Hamza, Helen, Kym, Molly and Will then take to the ballroom floor with routines inspired by the world of musical theatre. Everyone wants to secure their place in next week's semi-final, so showstopping performances and a stellar night of dance are to be expected.

Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman present as the two lowest-scoring couples compete in the dance-off, with a place in the semi-final up for grabs. There's also a performance from the cast of The Cher Show and a Guys and Dolls routine from the professionals

Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman present the semi-final of the pro-celebrity contest, for which Fleur, Hamza, Helen, Molly and Will must master two brand new routines to win the approval of judges and viewers alike and secure a place in next week's grand final

Christmas Special
Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman present the annual special, which sees singer Nicola Roberts, DJ Rickie Haywood-Williams, podcaster Rosie Ramsey, actor Larry Lamb, CBBC presenter George Webster and former Corrie star Alexandra Mardell perform festive routines in the hope of lifting the coveted Strictly Christmas trophy. There's also a special performance from a ghost of Strictly past - Bruno Tonioli. Is Anton's judging seat safe?
